Thoughts for consideration:
· This is an infringement of the parent-child relationship.
· Minors are considered not mature enough to understand the implications and responsibilities of their financial decision by law. Is it reasonable then to consider them mature enough to gather all the information about the risks and long-term effects of particular vaccines to make the best decision regarding their health?
· If parents are not aware that their child has recently received a vaccine, their ability to properly monitor that child for any side effects is hampered and may cause a delay in timely treatment.
